ROCKLAB LTD got it's name from the rocky CT hills where it is located and from unorthodox, experimental recording, mixing and music making techniques.
Malcom Black has been playing music for most of his life. He is skilled at electric bass, keyboards, guitar, and rhythm programming. He taught himself web design and has been designing sites since 1997.
Malcom has filled the shoes of composer, musician, vocalist, manager, promoter, recording/sound engineer and producer. He's also an accomplished painter, graphic artist and web designer.

In 1994 he completed the Recording Arts and Technology program
at California Recording Institute in San Francisco. Since then he has focused his efforts on the engineering and production side of music. In late 1998 he and his wife moved to Connecticut where he started ROCKLAB LTD in early 1999.
His most recent effort involving music, graphics and web design.
